LitShop is a young organization with ambitious plans to grow. Founded in 2019, we started our programming by partnering with schools and community organizations to utilize their spaces. In January of 2023, we moved into our own shop in the Botanical Heights neighborhood of St Louis. Our 2300 square-foot space houses a woodshop, makerspace, and literacy lab which will be our home until at least 2026.

We continue our strategic growth in 2024 as we work towards funding full-time staff members. Full-time staff will allow us to significantly increase the number of workshops we can host and powerful girls we can build.
