COMMUNITY BOOK CLUB
During Community Book Club, we’ll have a facilitated book club discussion, then spend the rest of the evening hanging out in the shop. Participants can work on existing projects, start something new, or just hang out with their LitShop friends, all under the supervision of LitShop staff. We've even been known to karaoke! Dinner and snacks provided.

COMMUNITY ACTION BUILDS
Community Action Builds give LitShop youth an opportunity to put their skills to work to meet needs in their community. We collaborate with other organizations to find opportunities that best fit our youth, their talents, and their passions. These one-day workshops are eligible for volunteer hours for scouts, NJHS/NHS, or other service groups.

OPEN SHOP
Shop’s open! During Open Shop, LitShop youth can work on independent projects or try something new using LitShop’s tools, equipment and supplies. LitShop staff will be available to support and suggest new projects. Open Shop is drop-in and no registration is required. All current and former LitShop youth welcome!

MAKERS MARKET FALL 2025
LitShop youth can apply to sell their handmade goods and artwork through our Makers Market program. We’ll have a booth at three Tower Grove Farmers Market Tuesday night dates, and youth can work with LitShop staff on product creation and production, marketing, merchandising, basic bookkeeping and product pricing, and other entrepreneurial skills.
